The Source by J.D. Horn – Review
This books was an improvement on the last one, but it still suffered from the same problems – too much going on, pacing, clunky language in parts, a strange fascination with making lists about what the heroine wears. However, I enjoyed the introduction of a foreshadowed villain, a deeper explanation of the mythology of the line and the appearance of the rest of the families. No spoilers, but the loss of a beloved character is both hopeful and poignant, if their relationship could do with a bit more development.
